Answer the questions visitors ask before they get in touch

I build a website assistant around your published services, projects and working terms. It links to the pages behind its answers and gives visitors a way to send you an enquiry. Try the assistant on this site when it is available, or send me a question directly.

Custom quote

  • An approved knowledge base built from your website content
  • A chat widget styled for your site, with linked sources
  • An editable handoff to your contact form
  • A test set covering common questions, unsupported claims and attempted misuse
  • An operating guide covering updates, limits and switching the assistant off

What the assistant does

  1. Answers from approved content

I use the pages you approve as the assistant's sources. Answers link back to those pages so visitors can check the scope and terms themselves. Missing or contradictory source material gets resolved before launch.

  2. Helps a visitor make an enquiry

When a visitor wants to work with you, the assistant opens your contact form with their own messages attached. They can edit the details before sending. The assistant does not submit the form for them.

  3. Hands unanswered questions to a person

When the available material does not support an answer, the assistant points the visitor to your contact route. It does not need permission to invent a policy or a price. It needs a way for someone to ask you.

How I build it

  1. Agree the questions and boundaries

I review what visitors need to know, what the assistant may answer and which enquiries should reach a person. Access to private systems is a separate scope.

  2. Prepare and approve the sources

I organise the source material with you and flag gaps in service descriptions, prices and conditions. You approve what enters the knowledge base.

  3. Build the widget and handoff

I fit the widget to your site's design and connect it to the agreed contact route. The visitor remains in control of what gets sent.

  4. Test questions and attempted misuse

I test ordinary questions, missing facts, misleading prompts and service failures. The review includes factual accuracy; an answer can cite the right page and still misread it.

  5. Launch with an operating guide

I document how to update the sources, check failures and switch the assistant off. Hosting, model usage and any ongoing work are listed in the proposal.

Scope and operation

Can it guarantee a correct answer?

No. I check the output and test it against your approved material, but those controls cannot prove every sentence is correct. Visitors get source links and a direct contact route. Binding quotes and commitments stay with you.

What does it cost?

I quote the setup, expected platform usage and any ongoing support after reviewing your site and the required scope. There is no published setup fee or monthly package yet.

Who approves changes to the knowledge base?

You approve the source material. I agree the update process with you before launch so changes to your services and terms also reach the assistant.

Does it keep conversations?

Storage, access and retention are part of the agreed scope. On this site, the assistant keeps a short conversation in the visitor's browser and records operational metadata on the server. Its data handling is described in the privacy policy.

Can I see production results?

This site's assistant is the implementation I am testing. I will publish measured results after live evaluation and review. I do not have production results to claim yet.
